The Mauna Kea Summit, Hawaii

This was the mountain from below. The meeting spot before you could head up, and where we went and pottied and ate our dinner.
Asa, being silly and again waiting patiently before we drove up the mountain.
Approaching the top of the mountain.
We are on the top, YEA!!!!! So the significance of this mountain is, is that it is the tallest. It is measured from the base to the summit. It measures from the seafloor to sealevel. It is about 19,000 thousand feet. Then from the seafloor to the summit the mountain measures at about 33,000 thousand feet.
